We’re just finishing a two week stay at the Allegro at Cozumel. My spouse and I had an unbelievable holiday as a result of all the staff. We had a few minor problems with our room the first night along with the Director of Guest Relations – Walter – instantly remedied the circumstance. The food was exceptional because of this Executive Chef – Gilbert – along with his dedicated team such as restaurant captain Frey. The hotel is little – 305 rooms in buildings or 8 or 4 components, we didn’t have any issues with sound. The rooms are recently upgraded and the cleaning team keeps them looking like new. There’s a long white sand beach with a swimming place for everyone to enjoy.I would suggest the beef at the Italian restaurant, the shrimp pablo in the chef and Mexican Pedro in the Oriental places on an excellent Teppan cooking series. Since the hotel is little you have to become familiar with the staff immediately, they’re all happy to guarantee you have the ideal holiday. We’ll be returning to the hotel later on.

Since my initial live in September 2015, I have discovered the following:The buffet food is a lot better (a la carte dining was great all together to me) that the hibachi is my favorite… The grounds are lovely and well preserved. The bartenders are educated and will make any drink you request. The beach is quite pleasant and if you use google maps to zoom back on the hotel area, you’ll observe there is a sea grass in a few of the instant areas off the shore front, but fear not, this cause good snorkeling right from the hotel. I’ve observed multiple little fish species . . .And you will find white sand just paths too to the deeper regions of sea for swimming pool. I’ve observed improvements in the standard of the nightly entertainment. They’ve an excellent open air environment for those shows. As a diver who has traversed the Caribbean within the past couple of decades, I’ll provide the hotel dive operator, Professional Dive International my greatest endorsement… Real Estate professionals in most respects and could not ask for a much better experience! Decision As a bit of a regular traveler I might be somewhat partial when I give 4.5 stars into the Allegro, however I do not believe you’ll see a much better all inclusive hotel for the cost anywhere in Cozumel, and possibly in the Mexican Riviera…

Cozumel is a Mexican Caribbean island that you can not miss. I’m telling you because I’ve come at every opportunity I have. Traveling to Cozumel is cheap and convenient. Also, the experiences that you live here are unforgettable. From your arrival, until the last activity, you do with your party. Even the accommodation is remarkable. Allegro is a great option. A couple of people recommended taking the tour for boca paila fly fishing if we wanted to practice one of the best activities near Cozumel.  My friends and I were pleased to stay five nights during the vacation period. We stayed there to be near the downtown of Cozumel.

We remained at Allegro Cozumel for a week over New Year’s together with our two teenage daughters. Each the staff work extremely hard and were really friendly. Volleyball in the shore was super entertaining and Cesar and David made the games fun and invited everyone to share in the activities through the day. The beach was nice but the water was not too apparent as we anticipated. We did go out on a ski excursion one day and the water was super clear with all varying colors of blue that was excellent for snorkelling. The water was fairly wavy several days and the afternoon we rented a Jeep to go to various beaches around the island the beaches had red flags and have been shut on account of the rough waters. It was a fun adventure as the east side of this island has some quite pretty areas to stop along the road. The food in the hotel was great with lots of alternatives for each meal. The only bad issue is that there’s just 1 restaurant for lunch and there was frequently a 10-15 minute wait to get a table during peak times. It was not that big of a deal as it was always great once we got. The resort did a fantastic job for New Year’s Eve. We ventured into the New Year dance to some fun band with everybody having a wonderful time! The sole real issue we had was with our area. It rained very hard on the next day for the majority of the day and the roof has been leaking. I moved to front desk and they immediately changed us into a ground floor area. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and would urge Allegro Cozumel for a fantastic family holiday.

In general, the hotel is a relaxing location. We reserved the “premium” bundle and discovered it was actually not worth the excess price. The sole real advantage was a room place closer to the shore and the superior sofa. The couch was decent, but nothing fantastic. The beach is crowded and small on good weather days. It’s definitely a family oriented hotel as there were lots of miniature ones on the shore. The children’s pool appeared underused. In terms of the food, nothing good.

Just that, no lousy experience to record. Food was okay, not outstanding. Pool areas tidy, beach fine. Staff friendly. When travelling with teenagers. Also we asked interconnecting chambers, were told that this was exactly what we’d been allocated and didn’t get interconnecting rooms. The tough market on coming in the concierge to go and listen to presentations about other resorts in the group so as to receive discounts on auto hire was not valued or obtained up. The that a la carte restaurants were fine, nothing particular, by about day 4 of we had been eating out as’d grown tired of this buffet, yet again this can be fairly standard I guess. Dive store was great, and the island is amazing. Only a pleasant, relaxing location for a winter sunshine holiday.

In general, the hotel was really excellent. Ideal for families with children as a lot for them. The beach was fine (but more attempt to clean cigarette butts and used limes has to be created ). It only seemed like everything was a stew, coated in sauce. Moreover, they need to consume more mexican meals. I understand that the dinner buffet was frequently from supper. For the nighttime snacks, it’d be safer to put food out and refill more frequently rather than placing lots rather than assessing. The oriental a la carte has been amazing!

Not the family holiday we expected for with night party goers (wedding party) and second hand smoke filtering to our area. Very hard working employees and clean hotel. Food was fine. Good beach. Stunning site. Snorkeling great only in the event that you choose a boat to the floor.
