This awesome trip will show you the highlights of the Peruvian Andes and Amazon Basin in 18 days of full of adventures discovering the native land of the Inca civilization. Join us on a fantastic journey through, highlands, snowcapped mountains, lakes, valleys, cloud and rain forests. Also, meet friendly people and open your mind to new cultures. Experience traveling on basically anything that moves and spend your nights in a nice and cozy hostel or a family home.

Day 01 – Lima

Arrive at the City of the Kings at any time during the day. Take the time to explore this colonial city and all the attractions that it has to offer.

Day 02 – Arequipa

Fly to Arequipa, explore ¨the white city¨ built with  white bricks of compressed volcano ashes, the city is surrounded by an impressive view of its three volcanoes. Recommended places to visit are the Monastery of Santa Catalina and Juanita Museum, or just relax and acclimatize to the altitude.

Day 03 – Colca Canyon

A bus ride will take you to the middle of the Andes where hot springs, Andean Food, and music await you. Take some hikes in one of the deepest Canyons of the world and be amazed by the hundreds of Inca terraces shaping the Mountains.

Day 04 – Puno

Visit the Cruz del Condor, where it is possible to see the majestic Condor species of birds flying in their natural environment.  Then take a beautiful hike above the canyon. Enjoy the bus ride crossing the Andes from West to East to get the Altiplano Plateau and Lake Titicaca.

Day 05 – Amantani Island Home Stay

Take a relaxing boat trip to Amantani Island, where a local family and host will show you their traditional and simple way of life. Hike to the island’s highest mountain to visit the Archeological site and again amazing views and sunset.

Day 06 – Puno

Say good bye to your local family and learn about the customs and traditional way of life of the unique Taquile Island. Then navigate a reed boat between the Floating islands of Uros.

Day 07 – Cuzco

Take a local bus and travel through the Altiplano Plateau and the Vilcanota valley, where you can witness the birthplace of the Amazon River. Arrive at Cuzco the navel city of World in the early afternoon, and explore this ancient city with its cobble stone streets, colonial churches, and Inca Archeological sites. Or, just enjoy a drink on a balcony around the Main Square. This cosmopolitan city has great night life where you can meet people from every corner of the world.

Day 08 – Sacred Valley – Ollantaytambo

Visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas, learn more about the Andean Culture at the Community of Ccaccaccollo, enjoy the colorful Pisac market, and walk around the unique Inca town of Ollantaytambo that still conserves both its urbanism and original Inca streets and houses.

Day 09, 11 – Inca Trail

This once in a lifetime adventure will take us up to 82 Km, on a hike of 26 miles on ancient trails, where high passes and Inca ruins await you. This is a worry free trip; let our team of porters, cooks and guides take care of everything.

Day 12 – Machu Picchu – Cuzco

Get to Intipunku, the sun gate, to observe a magical sunrise over one of the greatest wonders of the world. Visit Machupicchu in a guided tour, and then explore and discover the wonders of the Lost City of the Incas. Return to Ollantaytambo by train and bus to Cuzco.

Day 13 – Cuzco

Free day to relax or to keep exploring this city.

Day 14 – River Rafting – Cuzco

Time for fun and adrenaline. Our professional guides will make sure that you are going to have a great time river rafting at the Sacred Valley of the Incas with rapids Classes I to III.

Day 15, 16 – Tambopata Amazon Trip

Fly from the Andes to the Amazon jungle and travel by canoe to our lodge in the middle of the rainforest. Our expert guides will make sure that you view the natural wild life and flora.

Day 17 – Lima

Fly to Lima, and have some free time to do some last minute shopping and enjoy our farewell dinner.
